Women’s’ fashions are changing in Baghdad. Slowly, but surely, foreign trends including body-hugging jeans and mini-skirts are becoming favourites for Iraqi women. In a city, where modesty once reigned supreme, the recent renaissance of going out and having fun is being complemented by more revealing clothing. It may not be everywhere, but in some parts of Baghdad, Iraqi women are embracing their newfound freedom and joie de vivre in style.
