Egyptian women in Cairo will be able to feel safer on he streets in coming months thanks to Harrassmap, technology being implemented in Egypt to help women report incidences of harassment. The app will enable Egyptian and foreign women to SMS or Tweet incidences so that a map of hotspots can be drawn up and perpetrators identified.

And that’s not all, Egyptian first Lady Susanne Mubarak and The Egyptian Women’s Council work tirelessly to promote Egyptian Women’s Rights and improve their status.
