Saudi Arabia has passed new legislation, altering marriage contracts, in order to protect young girls in the kingdom against underage marriage. This landmark reform, passed this spring, aims to eradicate child marriage and guarantee a better deal for Saudi girls. The decision has been applauded by human rights groups across the globe.
