Yaser Birjas a.k.a 'Shaykh Yaser Birjas' is a Palestinian Muslim lecturer and teacher who was born in Kuwait and emigrated to the USA in 2000. Presently based in El Paso, Texas, Yaser is best known for his articles on Muslim marriage in the West. This remarkable Palestinian man has lived in the UAE, Jordan, and Bosnia and made a valuable contribution to Islamic education every step of the way. He is currently VP for EmanRush Press, the publishing wing of AlMaghrib Institute, and a frequent guest speaker Islamic conferences and conventions in the USA. Yaser is also a founding member of Practimate, a program dedicated to pre-marital training and matching for Muslim singles living in the West.
