Love can have consequences. In November 2009, British couple Ayman Najafi and Charlotte Adams were arrested, fined and jailed in Dubai for a month for kissing and drinking alcohol. Spotted by a Dubai woman and her daughter, the couple were tried and convicted of breaking the country's decency laws.
