It’s official: Afghanistan has its first rock group. Aptly named Kabul Dreams was born from the imaginations and aspirations of its three members – friends from different backgrounds and different origins. Inspired by English-language Indie rock, the three friend one Uzbek, one Tajik and one Pashtun got together and have amassed a significant following of Afghans and expats, rocking out in venues around Kabul, including the Afghan capital’s only nightclub.
