Aren’t I nice to you, dear readers? Not just nice but egalitarian to boot! After the flood of comments I’ve had in response to the blog about Bollywood’s sexiest female stars, I decided to even the score. So here you have… (drumroll please…)
The Five Sexiest Arab Male Stars in the Galaxy…
Ladies: enjoy! Gentlemen: be inspired!
My selfless female friends and I generously scoured the Internet, and pored over magazines, ogled the TV and compared notes for hours on end to bring you this definitive guide. See how hard I work for you?
Right then – here’s your top five (in no particular order.)
This delicious singer, composer and songwriter was born in 1985 in Amman, Jordan. Toni began to play the guitar and piano at the age of 8 and rose to fame with the hits Betghib Alayah‘, and Awedtini Sahr il Layali.
More than just a pretty face and a sexy voice, Toni’s composed songs for Lebanese singer Joe Ashkar, and Arab superstar Diana Karazon. He also holds a degree in Business Administration.
Find out more about Toni here.
It’s no surprise whatsoever that this luscious Lebanese male model was Mr Lebanon 2006; or that Anthony was selected among the semi-finalists during the Mister World 2007 contest.
A Business Administration graduate, Ant now owns a nightclub, and he speaks English, French and Arabic. Good looks and a good soul are a good combination: Mr Hakim has done plenty of work in his native Lebanon for and with young people with cancer.
This blue-eyed boy was born in Egypt in 1981. He rose to stardom at the age of 25, as a singer in Star Academy 3, where he was among the last 3 candidates who competed in the final prime.
Hani won the hearts of Arabs across the globe thanks to his angelic looks and warm voice. Since his Star Academy performance, he’s recorded a duet with Chris de Burgh called My Father’s Eyes for the film The Storyman. Creativity seems to flow through his veins: when he’s not performing, Hani’s hobbies include drawing and dancing.
Hani doesn’t appear to have an official website, but you can catch up with him on Facebook.
This scrumptious Syrian singer first arrived on the musical scene on 1997. His music combines Syrian and Lebanese folklore with modern beats and ballads. Samer has performed throughout the Middle East, Europe and even in Cannes (ooh-la-la!).
He is planning to launch a new melodic masterpiece in Arabic and Greek. Samer’s rather a talented so-and-so: alongside singing, he also writes and dances.
Samer’s official website is here.
I fell in love with this Palestinian actor when I saw him in Paradise Now. Since then he’s starred in The Nativity Story and last year’s Body of Lies… Kais is part German from his mother’s side and speaks (get this): English, Arabic, Hebrew, German and conversational French.
He was working in a bar when he was cast for the role of Said in Paradise Now, and among other jobs, Kais has worked as a taxi driver (we like a resourceful chap, now don’t we, ladies…)
