Asia Alfasia draws on the world to draw the world as she sees it. This inspiring Libyan-born British illustrator drinks from her roots and experiences of the Arab culture, blends them with Japanese influence and creates Manga with an Arab twist. Asia relocated to Britain as a child, and has gone on to stake her claim in the world of British comics. Her Arabian cartoon character Monir has since accompanied her to victory as the first female ever to win Britain's Hi8us Midlands Stripsearch Comic competition.
